"Need for speed and bleed"

Films: Phantom Racer (2009)

Alias: Cutter McCollough

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Racecar derbies are...well, if you ever wanted to see people test their wills to live, there you go. Sometimes, we wonder if people go to these things to see people win or to watch them literally crash and burn spectacularly. For here, the latter happens, but it doesn't end there.

History: A while ago, at a not-NASCAR race, rivals JJ Sawyer and Cutter McCullough had their final race when Cutter ended up dying in a particularly destructive and horrifying crash. So pretty much a typical NASCAR race, really. But while Sawyer retired, Cutter's spirit grew restless, and as a spirit, he took the wheels of his old race car, and pursued Sawyer for one last race, killing all who got in his way.

Notable Kills: Decapitates someone with the window, shreds someone with his components in the back of the car, crushes another with a seatbelt in the driver's seat, shreds a cop's face with bladed window wipers, this car has it all!

Final Fate: After pursuing Sawyer for some time, Cutter's final confrontation is at a dump, where a bulldozer is put to good use, and with it and some other help, Cutter and his car are shoved into a hydraulic press, where the car gets totaled. But if the car's regenerative powers are anything to go by, this might not last…

Powers/Abilities: The car can recover from any injury, and does not run on gas.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-We've seen killer cars before, but never have we seen the power and fright of a possessed version of one of the fastest automobiles around. Cutter's racer is an absolute beast on the road, complete with some bloody surprises in the trunk (literally in one case) and regeneration that would impress Christine for sure.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Death Speed".

-If you're wondering when motor sports sunk to their absolute low point, look no further than the Le Mans Disaster of 1955, in which a major crash resulted in debris hurling into and killing scores of audience members and injuring more than a hundred more. It was so awful that Mercedes Benz pulled out of racing until the late 80s.
